This week..
Only 2 days work this week. Main BathroomWork in the bathroom is completed as far as I can go. The plumbers are due Monday 8th to finish the fittings including the bath.
The Snug Using some of the spare oak flooring, I make some oak shelves in the Snug. This room is virtually complete and will be used temporarily as a bedroom for Christmas.
External Power Source I have had an external plug socket waiting to be fitted for some time. The need to supply our external Christmas lights brought it to the top of my list! This is simply a spur from the main socket on the other side of the wall on the kitchen ring-main.
BT's Home Highway ISDN UpdateYou will recall the on-going major dispute with BT (see Week 111). Following their totally unacceptable verbal offer (which effectively amounted to nothing) they have now written to me. However, it looks like a "standard letter". It assures me that they take my complaint seriously and are looking into it. They will give me an update within 5 working days. Nothing yet. I have ten days off now so we should make some significant progress including:
